01 The story

  1. Altria Group

Developed the vision for streamlined supply chain processes and systems — and led the projects that made it real: demand management, inventory, production planning and scheduling, product marketing and promotions.

  2. Founds Logexsoft

A supply chain consultancy built by practitioners, for practitioners — designing and implementing advanced planning and scheduling systems for manufacturers across industries.

  3. Data before algorithms

Launches a Data Management & Analytics division after seeing the same problem at client after client: years of mergers had left them with multiple ERPs, legacy mainframes and scattered MES systems. Clean, harmonised data became the foundation of every successful implementation.

  4. Custom applications

Adds an Application Development division for the operational problems no off-the-shelf package solves — from shop-floor mobile apps to ERP product-data tooling.

  5. Partner to the planning leaders

Logexsoft implements and supports Aspen Technology, OMP and Siemens Opcenter — and Jamil spends a growing share of his time with founders.

02 Mentoring

Founders who build for the real economy get what few advisors can offer: someone who has sat on the operations side of the table for 35 years and knows what actually gets adopted.
